The CG14 Black Pearl Wedges feature breakthrough ZIP Groove technology for the biggest and most precisely milled grooves available in a Cleveland wedge. Zip Grooves afford optimal spin, distance control, and shot consistency. The CG14 Black Pearl Wedges also feature Gelback Technology to remove unwanted vibration on mis-hits, while still allowing players the necessary feedback from the clubhead for a soft yet responsive feel. A wider sole design further improves shot accuracy by increasing contact on full shots and preventing digging on fine-tuned addresses.

Zip Grooves:
Cleveland Golf's biggest grooves ever are 25 percent bigger than standard grooves. On each CG14 Wedge, the grooves are milled to maximum conforming dimensions using a proprietary CNC mill bit to create envelope-stretching geometry for added shot consistency. This larger groove volume helps channel more debris at impact than traditional grooves, creating optimal spin and distance control.

The absolute integrity of Zip Grooves is maintained by the application of a proprietary coating to each groove for protection during the face sandblasting process. The resulting Zip Grooves are pristine and shiny, making Zip Grooves Cleveland Golf's biggest, most consistent, precise, and visible wedge technology to date.

CG14 Spin Control:

I love this wedge. I have bought 2 of them , a 60 and a 52 degree. So easy to hit , and very forgiving . Makes me want to try out Cleveland's Irons to replace the Nike irons I have now.

I just switch over from the cavity back Callaway X20 wedges. These are great wedges. The spin that they put on the ball is amazing. The groves are the biggest groves on the market by 25%! The distance control is great and is consistant.Good for the golfer with a handicap of 12 or lower. The price is a great deal. Definetly recomend to someone who is looking to put more spin on the ball and have amazing control aroung the greens.

THis club is awesome! I have the 54 degree. WHen I get inside 115 yards, this is the club of choice for all shots. Your confidence will increase significantly and you'll be pinseeking like me.
