5.0 out of 5 stars A great, straight-forward fishing book, October 2, 2000
As a basic fisher.......person? (What's PC these days, anyway?) Anyhoo - as a beginning angler, I found this book to be great - it really describes most of northern Ohio, and will keep me busy for some time. Barbo tells you where the fish are and how to get there - with enough information to keep you from getting lost if you've never been there before. Barbo also has a enjoyable writing style - easy to read, and humorous, and he sounds like a great person to go fishing with (So - John, if you read this - drop me an e-mail, and maybe we can hook up together....sorry - no pun intended :)

If you fish in the Cleveland area, buy this book!

This review is from: Cleveland Fishing Guide (Paperback)
We started fishing late last year with out knowing anyone else who fishes. We were able to get some info from helpful folks at tackle/bait shops and some other fishermen out on the lakes and rivers. We came across this book at a book store and decided to buy it online afterwards. It is full of great info for newbie fishermen or fishermen new to the area. It includes detailed maps of where you're more likely to catch some fish. I also liked that the author included nearby bait shops.
