Combining classic wedge design with advanced manufacturing technology, the CG15 Satin Chrome wedge offers some of the best and most effective spin yet developed by Cleveland Golf. The CG15 is made using Cleveland's revolutionary Laser Milled technology. Using the precision accuracy of a laser, Cleveland mills four perfectly calibrated texture lines between each groove--right to the conforming limit. This breakthrough surface texture optimizes the ball-to-face friction and maximizes the allowable spin under the Rules of Golf.
The club's shot-making prowess is further improved by Cleveland's Zip Grooves technology, which creates 25 percent bigger grooves, each with pristine edges. This helps increase the shot "zip" and consistency, especially from poor lies. Cleveland also added a Traction shaft, which is engineered from tip to grip to improve feel. The tip section is slightly softer than on most clubs, improving feel and responsiveness. The company then increased the stiffness of the shaft in the mid and butt sections to assure optimal launch conditions and consistency on full shots. Finally, the club boasts a wider sole width near the heel than most wedges, along with a narrow sole width near the toe. As a result, the CG15 improves a golfer's bunker performance without sacrificing versatility. 46 degree CG15 works for me!,

I lean towards stronger lofted wedges. They seem to work better for me with my slower swing. I was carrying a 48 degree Titlest Vorkey (a great club), but I wanted a stronger lofted gap wedge to pair with my Adams A3OS graphite-shafted pitching wedge. Younger players (I'm 72) would probably consider a 46 degree Cleveland CG15 a full wedge, but I hit it only 70-90 yards. My Adams A3OS Pitching wedge will take the ball 95-105 for me. I can also work and shape the shots a bit better with the 46 degree CG15. It is great for chipping around the green, and the new groves bite nicely. And I have used it with success out of the sand, when I did not feel I could afford the time to go back to the cart for a sand wedge. The CG15 46 is a great club by any measure. It completes my three-wedge system which is now, 46 CG15, 52 C-Grind Callaway X Wedge, and a 58 Golfsmith 685BX. Both the 52 and the 58 work great out of the sand. My CG15 was delivered by Amazon's free shipping ground service, and I received it a day ahead of schedule in new packaging. A happy camper I am.

Automatic improvement to golf game shaving off a couple of strokes per round. Condition of club was excellent and in said condition, brand new. Grooves help to provide added spin.

perfect wedge, must have one on your bag, and for wedges, cleveland is the best, the seller delivered just fine, on time. If you are an average golfer this is perfect for 60 yards and less, stops better on the green
