Great story for kids from all countries!,

Karlis leaves home to seek his fortune. Along the way, he meets up with the swiftest and strongest men in the kingdom, as well as the best archer and an old man who can blow with the intensity of a hurricane.
This is the "dream team" of adventure! And an adventure they find, when they come across a contest for the princess' hand in marriage. But both Karlis and the princess have other plans! As with other books in this series, this story is rich in both its illustrations (Charles Reasoner) and the tale (as retold by Jan MIke). This tale, Clever Karlis, hails from Latvia. |
