My husband loves these glasses!
Amy Carroll
They hang very comfortably around my neck and it is so easy to pull them apart and pop them on for use.
J. Rowland
My husband is a big man so apparently these were just too small for his size.

I've gone through so many reading glasses. Metal ones break. See-Folds (plastic "double" folders) were great, but they went out of business. Other plastic models also broke. "Blues Brothers" (heavy plastic) were durable, but lost.

I'm buying nothing but CliCs now - and Amazon has a great price. They're durable. I have a big head (8.0) and they are a touch tight, but now that I've learned to look for them around my neck, they're never lost!

I have two pairs of these glasses, one for the office and one for home. This is instead of the dozens of pairs of glasses I used to have scattered throughout my house. Even though I had dozens of pairs I could never find my glasses. With these fantastic glasses around my neck I always find my glasses. They are easy to put on and off and they are a real attention getter when you are in a group. It's kind of funny. People say "Do that thing again with your glasses". These glasses are a fantastic invention. Easy, easy, easy to put on and off. I think they are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!

I sure am tired of products being sold as "ONE SIZE FITS ALL" when they don't. I wear a size 8 hat (not even close to the largest sizes by the way) and the clic readers do not fit. When I put them on, they are so tight my eye lashes rub the lenses when I blink!

That being said, these are extremely well made glasses and their design is great and useful (if it fit...that is). The lenses are crystal clear and first rate. Get with the program clic and offer a larger version! And quit advertising "One Size Fits All" because this is just not true!

I bought a pair of these in December and am now ordering two more pair just in case I ever lose or break them. I no longer need to keep a dozen pair of cheap reading glasses spread around the house, office, and autos. Some key points:

1) They fit me just fine, (hat size 7 3/4) and are always there when I need them.

2) They're small enough so that with a slight tilt of my head I can easily look over them for long distance sight without removing them.

3) They're so light that I often forget I have them on once I slip them down and sometime go lookng for them when I'm haveing a "serious senior moment".

4) They lay high enough on my chest when removed from eyes, so that they don't interfer with carrying large objects. I've broken several pair of glasses in the past by squeezing them with large packages/objects when carried in my shirt pocket or on a traditional glasses strap.

5) They don't work well for me when reading in bed. The strap behind my head is uncomfortable, so I still keep a pair of other reading glasses by the bed.

6) They're a novelty. Other people always comment when they see me use them.

I use reading glasses for my work on the computer and for any kind of close-up reading. I'm constantly putting on or taking off my glasses to switch from close-up to distance. As a result, I've damaged or lost several pairs of glasses over the years because they fell out of my shirt or off the top of my head where I'd pushed them to get them out of the way. I also sweat fairly easily (and live in a climate that's hot much of the year) and glasses tend to slip down my nose and fall off. I've tried straps and other ways of hanging the glasses around my neck, but haven't been happy with them.

Now I've got Clic's "front connect" reading glasses. These solve all the above problems for me, and they're comfortable to wear all day. I can adjust the band around the back just enough to keep them from sliding down my nose without being uncomfortably close. When I want to switch from close-up to distance vision, I just pull the lenses apart, slip them down to hang around my neck and the magnets find each other and snap back together. No more lost glasses! It's fun watching people's expressions when I break the glasses to slip them down to my neck, or when I put them back on again. The magnets hold surprisingly well. The glasses have never broken apart during normal wearing unless I want them to.

One inconvenience I couldn't have appreciated before trying them out is that it's more awkward to slip these on and off with just one hand. I can usually slip any regular glasses on and off with one hand. With the Clic glasses it's just a little more awkward to take them off with one hand, and I'm getting pretty good at that. But it's really not easy to put them on without using both hands, because you have to line up the lenses and push them together so the magnets engage.

Conventional glasses usually work fine but these go completely around the head. Measuring over the ears and across the bridge of the nose, they are about 23 inches at their smallest and about 24 1/2 inches at the largest. The total adjustment is about 1 1/2 inches. Another 1/2 inch and they would have been fine as it is, they were returned.

I didn't think I had that large of a head, the closed loop of these glasses, and the limited adjustability made my purchase impossible to use.

Good quality construction, but definitely for those with small heads.
