5.0 out of 5 stars finally, a solution!
the clic adjustable front connect readers are fabulous!- no more lost glasses- it's so easy to keep my glasses where i can get to them quickly- they're always right around my neck, not on the desk, or on my head, or hooked in the neck of my shirt or 'somewhere'- having them connect together in the front means quick use at all times and can be done with one hand if needed-...

1.0 out of 5 stars Too small for men - OK for women or children?
I never thought I had a big head, but maybe it is (in more than one way?). My hair is pretty short, too.

When the frames clicked together, they were right up against my eyeballs. My eyelashes were plastered against the glass. That was after I pulled them out so they were at the maximum size (there's a very small amount of adjustment).

1.0 out of 5 stars Too small for men - OK for women or children?, November 15, 2005

There's no give in the solid plastic strap that goes around the back of the head. Interesting idea, but not something that works for me.

I called the manufacturer, who simply said "You can send them back to Amazon." Thanks.

I didn't expect the back part to be hard plastic like that.I thought it was that tubing like stethoscopes are made from, so I could roll it up small& carry it in the glovebox,or generally make it more portable.I think that would be a better concept.Other than that I like how thy're out of my way when they're on my neck for work or whatever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ever reading glasses!, February 9, 2006
This review is from: CliC Adjustable Front Connect Reader, 3.00 Strength, Tortoise Frame (Health and Beauty)
These reading glasses are the best I have ever owned. The unique design is perfect for those of us who need glasses handy and don't want to wear the long, dangling chain. I have the blue glasses and they are gorgeous! These glasses are lightweight, comfortable and stylish. What a cool idea.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT one-size-fits-all., January 7, 2006

This is a terrific idea, but not for everyone. If you wear a hat size that is L or XL, when you don your new Clic Readers the magnets will be 1/2 inch to 1 inch apart. The adjustability is in the length, not the width, so the notion that one size can fit everyone depends on how comfortable you want the fit to be, and how ridiculous you want to look in your readers. Why wouldn't the manufacturer offer these in S, M, L, and XL?

5.0 out of 5 stars Unobtrusive, always there, great glasses, October 27, 2005

These are a phenominal innovation. I confess, I absolutely love them. When I put the glasses around my neck, I forget I am wearing them-- until I need to see something close. Then they are always there. Right there. With no searching or fumbling. Magnet is firm and almost seeks out it's counterpart. I use them, then again, forget they are there. I have just ordered my second pair, in another color. As a bonus, kids find the front magnet connection for glasses to be awesome.

The only way to improve these glasses for the far-sighted would have been to use glass rather than plastic lenses BUT: they are light, length is adjustible but the marvelous thing about them is
the magnets in the nose-bridge which permit them to be mounted and dismounted with the greatest of ease. I bought my wife two of
them; one for reading and one for middle distance and she is estatic about them and wears them both about her neck contantly.

These are the best reading glasses I've ever owned. (Unfortunately would prefer to not need them.) They never dangle in anything. Can always set them low so you can look over them for long distance. (order the long ones to insure this is possible) Constantly get complimented about them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solves the dowdy dangle problem, September 13, 2005
Loooooove the glasses. People freak out when I take them apart to put on or take off. The magnets that hold the nose bridge together are solid and secure. I love that they stay out of the way and are short enough that they don't collect food or cat hair. Lightweight and good looking, especially the clear ones. Great, great buy for contact wearers like me, who still have to have reading glasses.

3.0 out of 5 stars Need Bigger Sizes!!!, July 7, 2006

This review is from: CliC Adjustable Front Connect Reader, 3.00 Strength, Tortoise Frame (Health and Beauty)
I love this product so much that I bought several pairs to give as gifts to all my "old folk" friends. Well, several of the men were unable to use them including my husband because they did not extend far enough out. WHY??? Since they are adjustable who was researching this? I know that Samual L. Jackson has a bigger head than my husband, so his must be custom. Big guys or even normal guys, you will not be able to wear these, but girls you will LOVE THEM.
