I read this book when it came out in 1989 and I STILL remember what a beautiful story it was. That's why I'm here on the Amazon site, to order another copy. Maybe I'll order two copies so I can donate one to a lesbian-run campground owned by some friends of mine.

Painful...
The most boring book I have ever read. I gave up half way into the book. I tried to give it a chance, but I've had better times at the dentist getting a root canal than reading this book. Don't waste your time or money, don't make the same mistake I did...You have been warned..... May the force be with you...

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. A tale about a woman and her quest for the truth, love, and happiness - it will have you laughing and crying before you are done. It is a must read for anyone.
