5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute must-read book! September 25, 2008
Helping your clients meet objectives is one thing but showing your clients relentless leadership is completely different. Sebastian's personal experiences and touch of practicality left me with actionable ideas that I can use on a daily basis. Anyone who works with clients in any capacity will benefit from reading "Tell Your Clients Where to Go!". There are only a handful of "must read" books out there, and this is absolutely one of them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Captivate your clients and catapult your career! September 16, 2008
Hi. I'm the author. I just want to provide a little more perspective on what you will find in this book. And I invite you to visit the accompanying website [key in book title] to learn more about the book and see what dozens of industry leaders have to say about it - including JOHN E. PEPPER, Chairman of the Board, The Walt Disney Company (Retired Chairman and CEO, Procter & Gamble).

The business world is becoming more complex and competitive. As a result, clients are under growing pressure from their management, boards of directors and shareholders to deliver results. More than ever clients need their various marketing and communications agencies to be more than "service" providers; clients need consultative business partners who help them meet increasingly difficult demands. Unfortunately, industry surveys indicate that clients are increasingly dissatisfied with the level of partnership behavior they feel their agencies are exhibiting. Consequently, clients fire their agencies and client service careers suffer.

If you want to captivate your clients and catapult your career, this book is for you. It is relevant to any industry, but invaluable for people who work in marketing and communications. While it is primarily intended for account people, this book is perfectly appropriate for anyone who is the least bit client facing in their role. If you engage with clients to any degree you have an impact on the perceptions they form of your agency - and, thus, on the quality of the partnerships your agency builds with them.

I did not write this book to become rich. In fact, all of my income is donated to charities in need. I simply love coaching and training. I have been successful in my career by being passionate and proactive - and I want to show you how you can, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Taking service to the next level September 23, 2008
Tell Your Clients Where to Go! is a practical guide for people in any service industry to become invaluable partners for their clients. Todd provides very tangible examples of how to be more passionate and proactive when it comes to your clients' business. This book goes beyond the content of so many other books like it by not only telling you what to do, but how to do it right.

What a tremendous GIFT this book is...and it comes wrapped so beautifully too...following the sage advice contained within. It is concise, practical, provocative and oozing with the passion that Todd obviously has for his craft. This little gem should be required reading for everyone in a client facing position...or even considering this role as a career. And for clients that might be struggling with an "agency relationship"...this might just be the perfect diagnostic tool to help turn it around before filing those divorce papers. Todd could have a second career in "agency/client couples counseling."

5.0 out of 5 stars Breaking the customer "service" stigma to reach excellence September 18, 2008
Todd brought it home in the first sentence of his introduction, "The word 'service' reeks of reactive behavior. Someone asks for something and someone else responds by filling the request."

He's so right. That's a "ho-hum" service attitude prevalent in today's business world. I've been on both sides of the fence, as a client and a business service provider. Anyone can fix the client's problem ... but do you retain them as a client ... and one who refers you to others?

Exceeding your clients' expectations is not always easy, but in "Tell Your Clients Where To Go!" Todd offers novice and expert alike, new insights into client relationships to keep 'em coming back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sebastian brings client management to life! September 11, 2008
Todd's "Tell Your Clients Where to Go" demonstrates how to create and nurture a win-win strategic partnership with a client organization. Most similar publications or training sessions are heavy in theory, leaving a lot to desire in terms of providing a pragmatic roadmap to success. Todd avoids falling into this trap by pulling many real-life examples from his personal experience, and brings successful, strategic client management within reach of all client-facing professionals.
