5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy, October 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The most comforatable climbing shoe I've used.

I use to go to the rock gyms and rent a pair of shoes 'cause I was too lazy to buy some. These shoes attacted me cause they were cheap and comfy. That's what I got. They work great too. I think the smear isn't as good as it could be, but I climb on sandstone that crumbles under my shoes, so it could be that too.

Either way, it's still a good shoe for the price. Also, no more foot cramps from tight shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 1st (or 2nd) or crack climbing shoe, February 17, 2012
This review is from: Cliff Rock Shoe - Men's by La Sportiva (Apparel)
These shoes are comfortable. If you get them 1/2 size too small. . . they'll stretch. They were my first climbing shoes. I was able to get through 5.11's and V4's with them without being able to blame the shoes.

They are leather which as mentioned before, they'll stretch. As they stretch they conform to your foot perfectly. I highly recommend them. Get them as snug as is comfortable. . . at first. . . or uber tight if you're more experienced.

One last note, they' are great for hand cracks!

1.0 out of 5 stars wrong size, March 10, 2009
on the size chart size 39.5 corresponds to size 8.5. On the shoe 39.7 is size 7 so the shoes are too small. They were given as a gift and now they are sitting in the closet
