This review is from: Clifford Coffin: Photographs from Vogue, 1945 to 1955 (Hardcover)
I bought several books on fashion photography and/or fashion designers, cause I am kinda obsessed wit fashion and stuff, and I was not really expecting the quality and interesting approach to photography that I have found in this book; now I think that this Clifford is way original and good, and I might compare him to Norman Parkinson , Horvat, Penn, and the likes; I am not saying he is the number one, but he could be perfectly in a first ten list.
this man captures personality, too, as it expected from the great photographers, and, just for example, the picture of a young Truman Capote, and believe me that I do no specially like male models,(I buy the books cause the fashion and female models), I have to recognize this man really knew how to capture the spirit and personality.
