It's Clifford again
Although the pictures in this book are taken from several previous Clifford books, this book is still a favorite of my students. Clifford to the Rescue references the nine books it is made from, so you can match the pictures. Two other compliation books are: Oops Clifford! and Clifford Grows Up.

Can be scary
Clifford helps catch bank robbers and the chase involves guns. My son wanted to know why those men had guns. Can be scary for younger children who you don't want exposed to guns.

DO NOT buy this book! This book is for 4 year olds and the cops and robbers that Clifford encounters are pointing guns at each other. I am not one for censorship but this book, for the youngest readers, features guns which is not appropriate. Buy any other Clifford book. ....

I thought it was good. I always loved Clifford. I especially liked the the part when the dogs were trapped behind the fence, and how he saved them. I personnely think that Norman Bridwell does a very good job on these books. Clifford is a very good friend and he is a very trust worthy dog. This is a good book for kids.

As others have stated, this book is actually several other Clifford books cobbled together. A complete waste of money, especially if you have the other books.As others have stated, the picture of a cop pointing a gun at Clifford & Emily provides good talking opportunities about overzealous police??? |
