My daughter received this book as a gift when she was around 18 months of age. We started reading it as the last story before bedtime and it became part of the routine. Like most children our daughter thrives on routine and we continue to read this book at bedtime today (she is 3 1/2). Now she pretends to read it to us as she long ago memorized the words. We have all the Clifford The Small Red Puppy Board Books, but this one stands out.

Clifford's Bedtime is our favorite "Small Red Puppy" board book. Every child (and parent) can identify with Clifford's bedtime needs: his blanket and favorite toys, a drink of water, and a good-night kiss. Norman Bridwell's simple illustrations are a perfect accompaniment to this story, which you will soon be able to recite by heart!

This book is working brilliantly for my 13 month old daughter's bed time routine. We've had heaps less tears since we've been reading Clifford last thing at night. She absolutely adores the other Clifford board books too.

My three boys (3-1/2 yo and 20 mo twins) collect the Clifford series. I didn't realize when I ordered that this was a board book, but I'm glad we bought it. I like that there are books my little guys won't destroy! We don't let them handle the older son's books, so this one is theirs. It's a nice simple story that they can relate to. We read it every day, and the older one can "read" it to his brothers!

This was a cute book. My son hates to go to bed at night so with a little help from his friend Clifford, he is able to see what Clifford's mommy does for him to prepair for bedtime. It is a short book so it fits our three book limit each night.

This book is really cute, but it is a board book. I didn't know that when I bought it. My daughter loves it though.

I really liked the simple format, my daughter is 18 months and she is fully engaged by the book, she usually loses interest in Dr. Suess and his fare.

We bought this for our 2 year old who loves Clifford. Although he does enjoy the story I find it very simple, not bad just not much of a story, perhaps for younger kids 12-18 months. Made well seems sturdy, hopefully his new little sister will enjoy it as she gets older.

My Daughter can't get enough of Clifford the Big red Dog. She loves this book. AfterI read it to her she loves to sit there and look at this big colorful pictures in the book and call out each characters name. This is a must get for your toddler.
