Illustrations
I was a bit disappointed with the illustrations in the book. They do not look like Clifford of the TV show that my granddaughter is accustomed to seeing.

Four Stars. [B-]. Good Read-aloud. This book tells two separate stories: how Clifford came to be in Emily Elizabeth's family, as well as how Clifford celebrated his first Mother's Day. Artwork is the original by the author, and not like that of the television show. ~reviewed by Pam T.~
