My son loves Clifford the Big Red Dog and enjoys the PBS cartoons. We watched the Really Big Movie on a family trip. My 2-year-old burst out crying when Clifford was kidnapped and in danger of being hurt by multitudes of lassoing cowboys. This might be a better movie for an older child.

My toddler loves the Clifford PBS series, and I thought she'd like this too....but not as much, turns out! Story is cute, voices are great, but the animation is not the same, and her attention was not as held by this dvd. Maybe for older kids it would be different. Good buy, though!

For the record, I am over 13 I saw this movie on cartoon network since there was nothing else on. at first i thought it was a stupid idea. five minutes into it,I ended up loving it.I love dogs (i have cairn terrier) the characters are very interesting.(i like the cow) if you are a parent watch this movie with your kid. you will both love it.

My 3YO started watching this at age 2 and she loves it. She watches it about once a month and then maybe one other Netflix documentary (or March of the Penguins) per month and that is totally it for her television viewing.

That is why I don't mind letting her watch this movie VERY occasionally. I have seen Clifford cartoon episodes (on a DVD rented from library) and YIKES. Bad, bad and more bad messaging throughout. Even the books stink -- Clifford and the Grouchy Neighbors -- all about some people who don't like Clifford. Just not fun stuff, so negative. No positive messaging, just shwag story lines. Poorly written, unimaginative. My daughter doesn't even like them. Back to the movie... more negativity: Clifford feels bad, runs away, feels that the only way his family will want him is if he has no needs, has to reach for stardom via a contest to make his [freeloading] way through life, which he accomplishes after getting kidnapped by a greedy little brat's father. I realize this is a more in-depth analysis than some want to put into a kid's movie but you are what you eat -- or put into your mind.

So I will stick to letting her watch it very occasionally. I'm sure interest will fade over the next couple of years as she barely asks to watch anything anyways. So much more in life to do. If you don't care to add another lame-messaging-movie to your kid's arsenal, I'd recommend skipping this one.

Perfectly sweet and endearing movie starring everyone's favorite Big Red Dog. The story follows Clifford and his friends, Cleo and T-Bone on their adventures as they try to win a talent contest which would bring them a lifetime supply of Tummy Yummies. There are some new and colorful characters that quickly win you over, including Shackelford the High-Flying Ferret and Rodrigo, the Chihuahua of Steel. Together this funny group learn what true friendship and loving dedication is all about. The music is wonderful, the length just long enough not to make kids squirm in their seats. A lovalbe favorite in our home.

Very cute movie with a good story line and moral.
My kids have watched this many, many times.
Has "catchy" songs for the kids to sing along with.
I have recommended this movie to other Moms to purchase.

This movie rocks! I am 10 years old and I even love it! This is a great kids movie!It is a heartwarming movie that has a good few good laughs!If kids are fans of Clifford The big Red Dog,than this is a must-have!

My son loves Clifford, he is 2 1/2. He loves the PBS show, he loves the videos and he is simply stunned by the movie. It has much better animation then the typical show. The characters look a little diff. but that doesn't seem to matter to him. It has a great story, helps him learn a lesson, and John Ritter is great. If your child loves Clifford he'll love this!

This is one of the best dvd for any children. I even like to watch it myself. Who doesn't love a red dog that loves you back. I had me time while the boys watched it and baked up a storm. I am happy that a dvd like this is so great for those little eyes to look at. It's a relaxing dvd to watch. Debbie

This was a pretty good movie. I say older kids might like it, too. I give the move 4 out of 5 stars, and the seller, Wonder Ponies Gifts & Treasures 3 out of 5 stars because the DVD had gunk on the bottom (They said it was Like New, new DVDs don't have gunk on them). They also have slow shipping. Also, they didn't say anything about it being JUST a DVD without a case. Overall, buy the DVD for Clifford fans and don't buy from Wonder Ponies Gifts & Treasures.
