I used two study guides to prepare for the Praxis. I just took the actual Praxis and I think this book did a better job of preparing me for the test. This book is easy to use. It has helpful sections on building math and writing skills, and it offers several test-taking hints. The practice tests in this book accurately reflect the level of difficulty of the actual test. This book is a bargain!

This book was fantastic. It was worth every penny I spent on it. When ordering I thought this was going to be a second rate book but this was the best book there is for preparation for the Praxis I tests.

I passed the first part of the praxis series because of this book. There are many reasons for applauding this book. First, the tests are hard which truly prepares you for the test itself. Second, the book has a great section which explains the answers so you have the opportunity to learn from your mistakes. Lastly, there are two practice tests per section and this helps you to improve not only your knowledge but your test taking ability in each area.

If I had only purchased this book, I would have passed the Praxis I tests with flying colors. Excellent book!

I loved this book. I feel like it prepared me very well for the test (although I haven't taken it yet). I especially liked the mathematics review, it was very easy to understand and reviewed many key concepts I had long forgotten. The only part I did not like was that the CBT was excluded and the book didn't give you an idea of how the scores are ranked (compared to peers), meaning what score is excellent, good, average ... etc.
