5.0 out of 5 stars A must for preparing for the ACT, April 4, 2000
By
This review is from: ACT (Cliffs Quick Review) (Paperback)
This book was extremely helpful for my preparing for the ACT. I had been warned about the ACT, and I didn't know where to start. I then obtained this book and did the practise test. I agree with my friends about the ACT - the hardest thing is managing your time. It's not so much the difficulty of the questions, but rather your ability to answer the questions in the time alotted. With the help of this book I was able to become familiarized with the time allowed for each section. I was able to get a very good mark on my test which allowed me to go to the university of my choice. What a great book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good for a quick review, July 6, 2005

Very good! if you have procrastinated for far longer than you should have and are looking to boost your ACT up a couple of points. A couple of points could be detrimental to receiving an extra couple of thousand dollars of scholarship money. Do not look to this book for a comprehensive review for all aspects of the test in detail b/c this book can be finished with a few good hours of rigorous reading. I found myself finished with the entire thing after a couple of days of studying for an hour here and there. Consider how much money they are asking for this supplemental test score booster and you should be convinced that it could not hurt.
