I used this to brush up on my English Literature knowledge for another type of exam. It worked excellently! The box is compact and easy to take along for impromptu review sessions. It covers an enormous range of topics from literary allusions, to grammar, to summaries of famous works. I highly recommend this product.

Every teacher and student of AP Literature and Composition must purchase this box of flashcards to prepare for the exam! The box includes all of the Biblical, Literary, Historical, and Mythological Allusions you will need for literary analysis, in addition to literary devices, numerous practice questions, writing style questions, and blank cards to add your own items!!! I have been using them with my class since January, and they love this box!! Worth the investment to purchase one per student! Get a box and get that 5 on the AP exam!

The cards were helpful overall, but the "Practice Exercises" were rife with errors. One card had a line of poetry containing the word "as", but defined it as a metaphor. (It's a simile.) Whoever wrote these questions was questionably qualified.
