Cliff Notes have always been a useful study tool. While this book lacks the details that make Joseph Andrews humorous, it does give a brief background as to the events and characters interactions in each chapter. While I would not recommend this book as a replacement to reading the actual novel, it is an excellent study guide.

Josheph Andrews Cliffnotes is the best thing since the invention of penicillin!! This book is literally a lifesaver. My son's English teacher assingned the Joseph Andrews novel to read over the summer, and it was one of the most drawn out, excruciating, torturous, and the most diffictult piece of literature I have ever encountered. Henry Fielding might have been an awesome writer in his day, but today, his work can turn a sane person insane. With the help of cliffnotes, I am happy to say that Belvue is not part of our eminent futures. My son was able to read the novel with clarity and with a better understanding of the themes, characters, plot, and writing style. If you are a fair to average student in English, I strongly urge you purchase this readers guide. Even if you are an ace student in English, I definitely would recommend Joseph Andrews Cliffnotes as an aid in comprehension and as a study tool. Of course, reading the actual novel is the best way to go, but if it is a choice between going insane or staying sane, I would choose the latter. THANK YOU CLIFFNOTES!!
