I was excited to get this book and begin reading it after finishing the novel, A WALK TO REMEMBER. It wasn't exactly what I thought it would be but found it helpful just the same. I was hoping for more of an outline of the novel from the author. It did give a complete description of the entire story though it was not in Sparks' perspective. The section that I got the most from was towards the end, The Character Analyses, and the section on, Critical Essays.
