I Love This Series by Piers Anthony
The author has an incredible imagination. A book like this isn't easy. Massive amounts of research combined with a clever way of using one group of people reborn throughout time. I just love this man's storytelling ability. And with just a few strokes from his brush (or a few well chosen words), he evokes a whole scene. This is the fourth or fifth in the series. I love...

the first few chapters are completely focused on rape....
ok so we all know that he's a dirty old man, but seriously? the first chapter is completely about rape as are the next ones. for the love of jesus christ monkeyballs.... i don't even need to say more
