5.0 out of 5 stars Shame it isn't on DVD yet, November 2, 2010
This review is from: Climate for Killing [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I agree with the other reviewers, this is a good movie and you should drag out your VCR to watch it!

Here is synopsis from the back of the box...

Kyle Shipp (John Beck) is a tough, old style cop working for the Yuma County Sheriff's Office near the Mexican border. Lately, he's had his share of problems. The mutilated corpse of a woman named Rita Paris has been uncovered in the desert. She supposedly died 16 years ago. To make matters worse, a hot-shot investigator has been called in to help "modernize" the department. Paul McGraw (Steven Bauer) is at first shocked by Kyle's freewheeling sense of justice. But eventually he comes to admire both Kyle and his beautiful daughter (Mia Sara).

With the help of Paul and the coroner (Katherine Ross), Kyle tries to unravel the mystery of Rita Paris. Along the way, he clashes with the two politically powerful Paris sons and the police chief. Ignoring threats on his job and his life, Kyle plunges deeper and deeper into a deadly world of blackmail, sexual obsession and murder.

This movie is excellent and it is a shame and disapointment that it is not on DVD. I would love to have it on DVD. The movie is not only excellent but so are all the actors as well. This is a must see movie if you love mystery and suspense. Please put this on DVD!!!
