This book is an utter waste of time. A two year old could come up with these quotes. Quotes like, " Have your suits cleaned often" and "Take your assistant to lunch, but not too often" are examples of how little thought went into this book. If you find this book helpful you should be worried. Thank goodness I didn't buy it.

This is a book for all people. I read this book for the first time during my third semester in College, and I still use it - even now when I am working. It definitely helped me through my BBA- and MBA program since it pushed me forward when it was tough. It is easy to read, and always enjoyable, and I always find a few new good quotes. Some of the quotes are common sense, some of them are OK, but most of them are excellent. The quotes can help you finding solutions to daily problems or ways of avoiding future problems, both at work and in your personal life. I always keep my copy in my briefcase - since I never know when I need it! It is a perfect gift to friends.

Here's a book that you can pick up and reread every year. Be sure to have your notepad handy when you do each time, however. Otherwise it will go in one ear and out the other. What most people say is just common sense should be changed to helpful reminders. Things like #130 "Have a firm handshake," #15 "Your advertising has to be at least as good as your product, and #370 "Before borrowing money from a friend decide what you need most," are examples of true gems & practical advice. A smart businessperson can squeeze a lot of value out of this book.

Small keys to open tough locks - the 500 maxims put together by Capozzi helps people burdened with fast life and lots of information. most of the maxims sounds simple common sense and it is true. In modern business, the plressure of events, business and high volume of information makese us miss the basic points at times. this book is for people of all levels - a beginner to a veteran manager for different reasons. The only underlaying quality should be open mind for recollecting what we burried within oursels. This book is not for those who think that Capozzi is trying to teach us the maxims we already know but for those who understand that instead of writing another autobiography of 10000 pages incorporating all these maxims under events, Capozzi gave us a chance to assimilate what he learned out of his life struggle into our thinking whenever it suites and get instant motivation. A must read for open minded people crushed under the piles of information created by modern system.
