Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet have accomplished some excellent spiritual pioneering for mankind. What this particular volume includes is a) a gentle introductory to the spiritual realm, b) an honest ("prove this information for yourself") approach, and c) specific information about several worthwhile topics. 3.0 out of 5 stars A good gift for people who are open to receive.
Read this book years ago and was telling one of my student about it. She then decided she would like a copy so I got her one as a gift. Some good stuff in it and some stuff that needs to be updated. I prefer the writings of Mark over Elisabeth.

These topics include: man's reason for being (Ascending in the Light of God, to become a permanent atom of Being in the Body of God--and why and how to proceed with due diligence); concepts of psychology from both a spiritual (Mind of God) and worldly (synthethic self, polarization tendencies) purview; origins and histories of various types of error/evil-doings on this planet (useful tie-ins to questions about "secret governments," currency manipulation, issues of freedom, education, and entertainment), and how to cleanse one's records/attachments re same; the techniques to travel out-of-the-body ("soul travel") to study with "Ascended Masters" (e.g., Enoch, Elijah, Christ Jesus, and Mother Mary) in fortresses or retreats of Light that they maintain and defend for earnest seekers; insightful comments on great and recent religious (Gautama Buddha, Mary Baker Eddy) and philosophers (Plotinus, Plato, Bergson); the introduction to and use of the "violet singing flame" (an aspect of the Soul and Spirit which is very helpful and precious); an appreciation of the Mindful use, or scientific application, of the spoken Word; and much more. In a phrase, this volume is a basic text for Reality 101, and many readers have enjoyed its humble, humorous, and holy presentation of truths for our age. "Always Victory!" is a subtext of this particular book, and, if nothing else, request your local public library to purchase a copy, and check it out...it will very likely prove worth owning a personal reference copy, and be a worthy present to interested friends as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A foundational work of the new millennium., March 16, 2003

This review is from: Climb the Highest Mountain Book 1 (Bk. 1) (Paperback)
"Freedom in the macrocosm through self-mastery in the microcosm" is what this teaching offers. Scientifically developing one's Consciousness--"God's awareness of Himself"-- wholly depends "upon the proper development of conscience." Accomplishing this "enthroning of the real image"--the "inner child" or "hidden man of the heart"--is this volume's thrust.
Toward this goal, information hitherto guarded as precious and for the specially qualified initiate has been lawfully placed upon the shelf where all may avail themselves of its precious wisdom. Those who outwardly remember sitting for sacred instruction at the feet of heavenly Saints in Schools of Light will often intuitively recognize what is being conveyed in this series.
Even those who are only mildly interested may benefit greatly from reading this volume. Answers to questions such as "why evil?", "what is God's plan (for me)?", "how may I unite with the Holy Spirit?", and "what must I do to attain/secure eternal Life/bliss?", are made plain. That by itself allows this book to be an essential one in the devotee's progress. And this book is a joy to read, as it conveys a clear sense of God's ultimate, ongoing, and immediate victory in our lives, and a precious sense of the dear, infinite and perfect Love that that One always holds for His Creation, each of whom is intended to become a unique and "permanent atom of Being" in the Body of God.
