This review is from: ClimbTek CT412 Four-Section 300-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Articulating Ladder, 12-Foot (Tools & Home Improvement)
This ladder is a must for all those who are into home improvement or installation jobs.Folds neatly enough to fit in my trunk, and is not too heavy to move around the worksite...and the fast action locking mechanism is a breeze to operate so you can change from ladder to scaffolding duties in a snap!I've got my moneys worth, you should too!!! Am considering getting a 16 footer soon.

This review is from: ClimbTek CT412 Four-Section 300-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Articulating Ladder, 12-Foot (Tools & Home Improvement)
I've used one for years. Pretty much all the functionality of the 3 major competitors for much less $$. Solid as a rock in all configurations. Folding mechanism is fairly easy to use, moves quickly from A-frame, to W-frame, to 2-leg platform. The 4 sections can fold onto each other for free-standing storage; fits in trunk or back seat to transport. Not a replacement for a light step-ladder, but indispensable for painting and ceiling installations where several configurations needed. Would be better if leg stabilizer bar was telescoping and had a quick lock device (I made my own) since it dislodges too easily.
