It doesn't get any better than this,

This review is from: Climber's Guide to American Fork/Rock Canyon (Regional Rock Climbing Series) (Paperback)
Not only is this the only guide book Ive ever seen for these two canyons, but is down right excellent. It gives accurate route descriptions and locations for hundreds of amazing routes. Even the topos are accurate, right down to the # and placement of bolts on most routes.

Was good when it came out, but is too dated,

This review is from: Climber's Guide to American Fork/Rock Canyon (Regional Rock Climbing Series) (Paperback)
This was a good guide when it came out, but it's just too old now. There are hundreds of new routes both in American Fork and Rock Canyon. Many, many new areas have been developed in Rock Canyon especially. For that canyon, the best info is available for free at [...] (I'm not affiliated with them in any way). This guidebook is still somewhat relevant for American Fork, but again, Mountain Project has enough info to keep you busy. The Ruckman brothers' guide to the northern Wasatch (Rock Climbing the Wasatch Range (Regional Rock Climbing Series)) is still a great book and worth buying (though it doesn't cover these two canyons), but the usefulness of the AF/Rock Canyon book is minimal.
