This review is from: Climbing Out Of Autism One Bite At A Time: A Step By Step Manual For Recovery and Developmental Gain (Paperback)
This is a very imformative book about autism, even going as far as describing what the symptoms of a reaction feels like to an autistic child. Michelle Cheney can tell us about these feelings because her husband was having the same reactions as her son and he could later describe them. She tells us of a diet that starts out really basic and slowly adds foods back in to see which foods causes her child reactions. She notes how his cognitive skills get better or worse with different foods. I take care of an autistic child and after I read this I had to give it to her mother. I think this could help so many children. With all the food additives, toxins in immunizations, heavy metals, stuff absorbed through the skin... This book is wonderful for any parent with an autistic child. Full of information.
