My girlfriend and I saw Mercy River open for collective soul in Wilmington, DE and in Atlantic City, NJ. We both purchased Climbing and haven't been able to put it down. These guys are great!!!! We really hope that they get the record deal that they deserve. I must say that we got to meet them in Atlantic City New Jersey and they are the nicest bunch of guys that I have ever met!! This CD is one that since I started listening to it, it is impossible to put down. Need and Patch of Green are my favs, but the whole cd is definately worth listening to over and over again. This is one that is worth picking up!!!!

I bought this CD after hearing about this band from friends. Well, the CD isn't bad... but its pretty darn ordinary. To me, Mercy River sounds like they are trying too hard to be taken seriously. I was a little dissappointed because they sound like all the other "Matchbox 20 wannabe's" that have proliferated the late 90's. Maybe its formula that works for the masses, but I need a little more originality.

I Recently saw these guys at a Mall performance in Christiana mall... if you haven't checked them out yet.. you definitely should! I picked up their CD afterwards and I've been listening to them non-stop. Their songs are all pretty catchy, Especially "history" but my fav. has to be "Climbing"! So pick up their album. I promise you'll LOVE it! : )

When I first bought this CD,I listened to it in it's entirety three x's in a row.The first two songs are good but the record seems to stall after that.It just never kicks in.Mercy River is at "ebb tide" on this one.

I HAVE SEEN THE BAND THREE TIMES NOW. EVERY TIME I SEE THEM THEY GET BETTER AND BETTER. THE LAST TIME I SAW THEM WAS AN ACOUSTIC SHOW. THEY JUST BLEW ME AWAY. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Firstly, let me start off by stating that all good music enthusiasts can tell who's serious and who is not about bands. The guy who claimed he was a Sony Producer, I would hope no one is taking him seriously. Sony Music Producers know how to spell, last time I checked. Anywho, I have been to many many many Mercy River shows, PA-DE-NJ, and every instance they have taken time out to talk with fans. Their music is beautiful, the lyrics are intersting and they put on one hell of a stage show. I applaud you guys! Keep up the great work!

MR is a killer band , Saw Them Twice ... ... they put on a much better show. Thier CD "climbing" is awesome u will listen from start to finish and over again . If You Purchase This Ablum It Will Probably Be One Of The Best You Buy all Year its GREAT

Climbing is an awesome album. The lyrics are well written and the music is of course great! The album has so many great tracks, I can't choose a favorite. This CD is a must for anyone who skipping through songs!!!

This album is amazing... there is not a bad song on the whole CD. It will apeal to a wide variety of music fans. Also, if you get a chance to see them live, do it! They are truly a talented group of guys!!!
