Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Gr 4-6-A fascinating survey of the evolution and domestication of horses written in a conversational, relaxed tone. The text also includes brief discussions of the different breeds and "Horses as Pets." An attractive layout with plenty of white space, zingy graphics, and full-color photographs and reproductions give this title an appealing appearance. All of the facts are here, and the book is fun to read, or even just browse.-Lisa Falk, Los Angeles Public Library.
