5.0 out of 5 stars A new lyric voice, February 23, 2001

This review is from: Climbing the Shadows (Paperback)
Ms. Poloskey has done the nearly impossible. Her well chosen phrases summarize her life experiences in a very poignant manner. Her presentation is faultless and each of the 34 poems bears frequent re-reading. There have been very few truly satisfying books of poetry in the last years, "Climbing the Shadows" is certainly one of them.
