Product Description

Size: Pack of 1

Clinere Ear Cleaners are an innovative product used to remove excess ear wax and debris. Unlike other ear cleaning products, Clinere Ear Cleaners actually remove ear wax and debris rather than pushing it deeper into the ear. The unique dual-end design offers a scoop for removing excess build-up on one end and a massaging head on the other. Clinere Ear Cleaners remove dirt and ear wax build-up that can cause temporary hearing loss and infection.

Customer Reviews

Works better than anything I have ever tried for ear cleaning.
John Knight
I use the Clinere Ear Cleaners to "scratch my itchy ears" as well as remove and exfoliate the wax and dry skin built up inside on occasion.
H. A. Smith
The head on this plastic one is too big so it's hard to scrape (lightly and carefully, of course) the inside of the ear.

I can't say enough about this product! It ranks up there with instant temp reading temple scanner and pain reliever chew tabs. I have one child that gets dried skin stuck in his ear and another that makes an over-abundance of soft ear wax. Conventional cotton swabs/tips did not do justice to either. The "scoop" end of this great little product gets the waxy stuff - the other end takes care of the skin. Our older kids use these when they get out of the shower. You can pop them in the dishwasher and santize if you'd like - or run under hot water. Yes, I'm a geek to be reviewing this product but if I can help one other parent out there with these issues - then it's worth it! I can no longer find this product at our usual drug stores and am thrilled to find it here at Amazon.

I love the qtipi side of this and have rarely gotten any wax with the spoon, but even as a 1 sided product still 5 stars. I do suggest the better deal of buying more than a 3 pack on amazon. You are going to get totally addicted to these, and they are cleanable, but inexpensive enough for most people to throw away after a use. I had no idea how much the dead skin in my ears was itching, but this cures it and you can honestly look at a used one and see how much wax/skin has been removed- its very satisfying to look at the qtip side through the light after use. It is as gentle as you make it, you can use it very gently against the sides of your ear canal or with a bit of pressure, just make sure not to poke your drum- it is easier to poke your eardrum with the spoon which i sometimes twist or scrape a piece of wax out- so its not totally useless, its just not why i buy this product. The scrubby side feels so good you wont even believe it if you have itchy ears, this just might be what cures it! Exfoliating skin on any part of your body is a good idea, and in the ears its very very very relieving to have the dead skin removed. I use every day and always get some more skin and a bit of wax, but it seems like my ear wax has gotten much better since i started using this and it doesnt seem like i produce as much anymore. I LOVE IT!

These little guys are the best thing since the bobbie pin. I had this itchy dead skin in my ear and these just feel so good and they are way safer than a q-tip. you just have to be real careful and not poke them in too far.

I have both the plastic Clinere Ear Cleaners (10 for $5.99) and the metal Rossallini Silver Tone Earpick (10 for $4.89). They both work as intended. Here is a short comparison.

Clinere: 3 1/4" long, fairly flexible plastic, have a "slotted spoon" end and a "tiered quasi q-tip" end. Advantages: more flexible and slightly softer which might make them safer in an accident; two different tips - both are effective; round shank that feels more like a q-tip. Disadvantages: "slotted" ends are difficult to clean completely as the slots are very small. Not as durable as Rossalini.

Rossalini: 2 3/4" long. Advantages: One usable non-slotted "spoon" end. handle end has a hole (hang on a small nail, keyring??). Spoon is effective. Appears to be stainless. Metal is polished and smooth - no sharp edges. Very easy to clean. Disadvantage: only one usable (spoon) end.

I use both but prefer the Rossalini which also has two other advantages. First, the 10-pack is $1.00 less expensive. Second, and far more important, these things are also quite handy around the house and shop for getting into small crevices (they're metal and won't bend easily.) I 've used them for a variety of things from cleaning crevices to mixing small amounts of 2-part epoxy glues. They last a long time, and a pack of 10 may get your through life if you don't lose them.

Both are fine products and work as advertised. I'm satisfied with them both. I should mention that at this writing the Rossalini are only offered on Amazon as add-on items, so you may have to bundle with another $25 purchase. They arrived in 2 days. The Clinere were not add-on items, but took 10 days.

n.b. as of late April, 2013 Amazon changed their prices: the Rossalini is now under $3 with free shipping, and the Clinere are now add-on items (same price). This make the Rossalini the far better value IMHO.

I've been an Ototek Ear Loop user for years, but I recently decided to give this product a try.

Overall, it is quite good. It cleans your ears efficiently and fits nicely into all the curves and grooves. And the product is sturdy and can be reused many times if cleaned properly each use.

The only complaint I would have is it would be nice to see a protective guard to prevent users from inserting it too deeply into the ear canal.

Pros:
- Does the job well
- Sturdy; will last for a while if cleaned properly after each use

Cons:
- No protective guard to prevent eardrum damage

I love these! Way better than Q-tips. My son has very hard ears to get clean. I often had to take him to the doctor just to get his ears cleaned. The Clinere Ear Cleaners allow him to reach where I can not and not harm himself. (he's 11) They are a little pricey but better than a trip to the doctor's office. I bought in bulk with hopes they would work, so we're good for now. I will definitely re-order when we run out.
