5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful detailed photos of horse anatomy!
I am a pre-vet student and I have learned so much from this book. This book shows and names everything inside of the horse. It is very graphic with photos of freshly dissected specimens that are clearly labeled. I do recommend knowing some medical terminology or buying a veterinary dictionary along with it though because it is very advanced.

3.0 out of 5 stars radiology resident review
Good balance of detail and simplicity. Good inclusion of basic imaging ie rads and basic tendon ultrasound. Worth buying.

This review is from: Clinical Anatomy of the Horse, 1e (Hardcover)
Very Useful book. Great details that just don't show up in drawings. It has given me a much better mental picture of how the muscles are arranged. When I am doing therapy on a horse. I wish it had more on the physiology but It is great on the anatomy end.

This book is so helpful because you are actually able to see the muscles/tendons/bones of a disection almost immediately post mortem. I am studying equine anatomy for a bodyworking class and this has really made clear where each muscle and tendon are located.
