I got this book to help out with my dosage class in nursing school. My other text book was really confusing, but I found this book and it was great. Very clear and helpful, Very explanatory and really helps you understand dosage. Lots of practice problems (only a few are filled in [with pencil only]). I HIGHLY recommend this book!! comes with CD .

This book made it so easy to learn nursing calculations it was not even funny! I picked up so fast that I finished the entire book in one night. I passed my nursing boards with 75 questions in 30 minutes - and this book really helped!

this book was mandatory for our 1st semester of nursing school. very helpful and the CD that comes with it will help you with your studies in the nursing field. has a step by step way to solve with worksheets in the chapters to do the problems based on the chapter. pictures were great!! helpful in how it showed wording abbreviations and what not to use as well as simple conversion methods. awesome book!

Great product...I ordered it for a review...Most of the nurses who have been working for a period of time are spoiled with the computers and pump calculators..It is always a great idea to review and keep up with the manual calculations in case of an emergency...Thank you...Jane

The book is very easy to read. It has many pictures to help understand what the medication and equipment look like. It has practice questions too which are helpful when learning how to calculate medications.

I was so pleased that I purchased this book through Amazon. It saved me a great deal of money, and most importantly it arrived in the condition that was described. Since purchasing this book I tried another website and was totally dissatisfied. So with my future needs I will try Amazon as my first choice.

We were required to buy this for class. There are calculation errors, and conflicting information on rounding. As a first year nursing student, it was very frustrating using this book. Sure, the formulas they presented were helpful. They showed 4 different approaches to calculations. But the practice problems were just frustrating. I would say keep looking. There has to be a better option. Textbooks should not have errors.
