I have looked at several cardiac MRI books and this is the best I have seen. Still a little wordy, but more practical than the other books out there.

The structure of the book is convenient. It covers major topics in details. The chapters are well edited and there's no disturbing difference between them. The chapter about contrast materials written by Ni and Dymarkowski coveres the topic extensively. Cardiomyopathies are represented pretty well especially taking into account that it was published in 2005. Congenital heart diseases are also covered well. I haven't sensed significant vendor influence while reading the book.
Although time passes by and when it comes to cardiac MR - books can become outdated - but this one had kept its leading position. Especially if I take the softcover version, which may be even affordable for costumers from Eastern-Europe. Highly recomended for all clinicians before (or after) engaging in this field.
I'm definitely looking forward to see the next edition.

This is the most comprehensive cardiac MR book you can have for the price. The book is fully loaded with pictures and the chapters are very detailed. The companion CD rom is somewhat difficult to play, but works even with Vista. Movie files are .mov and the cases are awesome.
