I had two different years of this book and am very happy that I had them to use in my studies. The examples and practice were very comprehensive and the feedback was helpful in my learning.

I passed the CCS test on the first try!

I got this book to help me learn more about how to do abstract case coding. It did the trick. I feel that I am almost ready to take the CPC Review and Exam. I would recommend this book as a must for coders.

Very good book. It follows the horrible textbook/workbook I use in class called Basic ICD-9-CM Coding (also by AHIMA). It gives you the answers in the back so you can track how you got there. I have found very little logic in ICD-9 coding, so more practice is better.

I got this book very fast and in perfect condition. It's a great refresher for coders.
