This product is very helpful. It sums up the chapters well and hits the key points. It is pretty much a mini version of the big book. It is in good shape and doesn't have hardly any marks in it.

This was a required text for the geriatric clinical rotation in my nursing program. We didn't use it a whole lot, but I found it well written and it presents what you might expect to see in the "older patient population" in a non-biased manner. There is so much "ageism" in society today, I think it is important to realize that just because a patient is growing older in years doesn't mean they are feeble, senile, or less worthy of attentive health care than someone younger.
