Good Hematology Review Text,
By
This review is from: Clinical Hematology: Theory and Procedures (Hardcover)
This book is recommended for a general review of basic hematology, hemostasis, and lab practice. The book is a quick read for a medical text and each chapter has a nice concise summary at the end, along with exam questions. There are a few typos here and there and some of the color plates and artist renderings are just awful. Moreover some of the tables and figures are somewhat hard to follow. Overall, its a good book to have for generalist lab technologists for review.

This is a very difficult book to wade through. It is hard to find information you need and most of it reads Greek. I'm not sure how the newer edition is, but I wouldn't imagine it to be much better.

Great book, easy to fallow.. My teacher used all the questions from the book for her exams, it was very helpful however, be careful, some of the answers for the questions are wrong...not many but enough. other than that, I really liked it, it was a great supplement to lecture. Well worth it!
