This book is, in my opinion, the best review book in preparation for the BOR certification exams in clinical laboratory science/ medical technology. It contains all of the essential information in outline form and humorous drawings to help you remember certain concepts. It's very entertaining to read. There's even problems at the end of each chapter too! Another good review book is Hubbard's Concise Review of Clinical Laboratory Science which may cover certain areas in more depth, however, I like reading and studying from this one a lot more.

In my opinion this is the best review ever. It is very easy to understand, fun and make emphasis just in what you need to know to pass your examinations. I recommend this review 100% over all others. What you waiting for??? Buy it.

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a book and a POOR one at that. There is writing in the margins and shades where the text was highlighted.

Save your money and BUY THE ORIGINAL BOOK. There are already answers written in on some of the quizzes.

Convienently the COPYRIGHT PAGE is missing from this PHOTOCOPIED BOOK.

I just ordered this book because a friend of mine had an older version and it is an amazing review. I am taking my boards in 6 weeks and wanted something quick and easy to look over. This book is very "to the point" and has alot of review questions. Some reviews for this amazon purchase have said that this book is a photo copy of a book but mine was not. My book was brand new and in perfect condition.

This book is very helpful when reviewing to take your ASCP board examination. I am going to take mine in a little over a week and I feel that this book helps a lot with memory tricks to help remember all the important subjects you will need to know!

This book is very easy to read and comes with pneumonic devices, pictures, and stories to help you learn the material covered in Medical Lab Technology or Clinical Lab Science. I really wish I had this book along with the flash cards when I first started the program. Having both of these components will give you everything you need to excel in any program and do very well on the National Registry Exam.

Well, I've purchased a copy of this book before but of another edition. After purchasing a new one here at Amazon, I found it really amazing, because of improving some graphics and informations that wasn't found in the old editon. Well, this book was really helpful when i took the licensure exam..

This is the book that any prospective Medical Science Professional must have. It is very easy to understand and entertaining. It uses funny drawings that can help you remember the essential concepts for BOR examinations. I personally used it for my BOR examinations and I've got an excellent score. Try it!

The book in and of itself is great, the way the author(s) put-it-together and the manner in which it is chronicled. Although, I would have appreciated it if the seller made plainly, online, that this sale is a photocopied book! It should have been noted in order for me to decide, for myself, whether I wanted this sort of book, or not! The author does teach at LSU!
