5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, January 10, 2007

Excellent book on Neuro for the healthcare professional that is not a neuro specialist. I am an ER PA and find this a useful refernce in everything from the neuro exam and it's etiology. This book has a similar format to the Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for neurology clerkship, April 12, 2008
This review is from: Clinical Neurology (LANGE Clinical Medicine) (Paperback)
This is the required text for my medical school's neurology clerkship. At first, I was intimidated by using a 400 page book for a four week rotation followed by the shelf but this book is concise and easy to read for a 3rd year medical student who had a half decent neuropathophysiology class during second year. Other more concise review books such as blueprints or NMS are almost as long and do not provide the depth necessary (in my opinion) to tackle one of the toughest shelf exams. There is a good review of imaging and great illustrations of anatomy which really can really expediate review before the test. This book paired with pre-test neurology was all I needed for this rotation/shelf.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, August 7, 2009
This review is from: Clinical Neurology (LANGE Clinical Medicine) (Paperback)
Overall great book, clear, concise, with good topic coverage. If you have limited time like all med students this book hits the main points well and has lengthy ddx on many conditions. If you are getting this book for anything other than an introductory course or a review book I would hesitate to recommend it so strongly.
