Practicing dental hygienists can also benefit from the newest up-to-date information in this book. The textbook is practical and loaded with valuable details required for practicing the art of dental hygiene. The chapters are clearly organized and easy to follow. Resources and references listed at the end of each chapter can lead the reader to more information on the various topics. It could easily be considered a mini-encylopedia for dental health information. This book is a bargain!!! Often referred to as the "bible" of dental hygiene, no student should be without this text. Practicing dental hygienists can also benefit from the newest up-to-date information in this book. The textbook is practical and loaded with valuable details required for practicing the art of dental hygiene. The chapters are clearly organized and easy to follow. Resources and references listed at the end of each chapter can lead the reader to more information on the various topics. It could easily be considered a mini-encylopedia for dental health information. This book is a bargain!!! I highly recommend this book to students and practicing dental hygienists.
