I am currently training in a very busy level 1 trauma center in the US and have to do all sorts of procedures on my patients all the time. This book is absolutely the best text out there detailing all the procedures which you would ever have to do in your practice as an emergency physician. It is detailed, illustrated and lucid. It inspires confidence. All the relevant details are listed out there and it also warns about the common pitfalls and mistakes made by most.

This latest edition includes some of the newer US guided procedures as well.

An absolute must have for all physicians.

With its new colored illustrations and pictures you cant get a better text than this. although it would have been nice to add some videos of the procedures.

This text is the bible for all emergency medicine procedures. You will learn exactly how to do procedures, different methods, and the background for the reason they are done.
