The Best of Freud's Legacy,
By
This review is from: Clinical Studies in Neuro-Psychoanalysis: Introduction to a Depth Neuropsychology (Paperback)
Freud couldn't have asked for a finer compliment than to have neuropsychologists using his work to advance the study of brain injury and disorder in the neural scientific realm of our time. For those not familiar with Freud or his 1895 "Project for a Scientific Psychology," this book proves an interesting introduction, as it was mine. I decided, after reading it, to look further into Freud's work and his life. Truly, as it turned out, he was a fascinating character and there was a very valuable application of brain/mind science at every turn. A bit of knowledge of neuronanatomy comes in handy with this volume, but is not entirely necessary. If you long for an enjoyable challenge, then this book will readily supply it.
