I like the layout of this text. I used it to teach a Clinical Strategies Course for Master's prepared nurses and found the text easy to follow and utilize with an engaging audience. Also, many of the students plan to take the CNE examination and the book provides blueprints at the end of chapters. The text also highlights the importance of a clinical instructor and guides the reader throughout. I highly recommend this text for nurses who are interested in teaching in the clinical setting--it will provide a framework to allow a better learning experience for the student.

This book contains some good ideas and clinical teaching strategies, but it is incredibly wordy. It says in 500 words what could be said in 100. It's a tough read.

Lots of great information. The book was paired with an online course but will continue to serve as a reference tool.
