must-have study material
I am an unlicensed tech and want to take The Test later this year to get certified. Everyone I have talked to swears by this book as the most comprehensive review for techs. It doesn't get too detailed in some areas....you'll still want specialized texts for subjects like pharmacology or anatomy. But this is the one book every tech and student should have. A note of...

I am an unlicensed tech and want to take The Test later this year to get certified. Everyone I have talked to swears by this book as the most comprehensive review for techs. It doesn't get too detailed in some areas....you'll still want specialized texts for subjects like pharmacology or anatomy. But this is the one book every tech and student should have. A note of warning....if you buy this book used, make sure you get a RED covered copy. Older editions have a green cover and may have out-of-date info.

Highly recommended. I am a vet tech and I am constantly looking in it, and referencing, researching, and rechecking. It's the most used book in the clinic.

I am a vet tech and I think this book is wonderul. Myself and the other tech at the clinic use it every day. It is a great reference for any technician. A must have for every vet clinic.
