About the Author
John M. Spores, PhD, JD, is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Purdue University North Central in Westville, Indiana, and practising Psychologist in the State of Indiana (License #20040638A). He is also licensed as an Attorney at Law (Indiana Bar #21404-64). Dr. Spores specialises primarily in the area of psychological assessment and testing. In 1990, he received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, including a minor in Developmental Psychology, from Purdue University at West Lafayette, Indiana. He earned his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law, Valparaiso, Indiana, which was conferred in 1998.
He has a loving family including his devoted wife Billie Ladas Spores, fraternal twin children Andrew and Demetra Spores, and two loyal (although occasionally intransigent) long-haired dachshunds Max and Moe Spores. He and his family are Orthodox Christians and members of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Merrillville, Indiana, Father Theodore Poteres, Priest. The Eastern Orthodox Faith plays a fundamental role in his and his family's life.
