5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those blemish emergencys!
I love this Emergency Gel Lotion Acne Medication i put it on under my concealer and other makeup so it's still treating my blemishes while their covered with makeup. It doesn't sting either like other painful acne medications.

2.0 out of 5 stars not great just fine
I like Clinique products, and this one is fine...it just doesn't live up to all of the remarks that i had read about it clearing up tough acne etc. It's nothing great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't clear my acne, might work for very mild acne, October 7, 2011

This is a benzoyl peroxide acne treatment with a 5% concentration of benzoyl peroxide. All things considered, this is a very low concentration-which is not necessarily a bad thing. Although higher concentrations of benzoyl peroxide can bleach clothes (I did this many times when I had bad enough acne to warrant a prescription) this is not a high enough concentration to cause any real damage to fabrics. Unfortunately it is also not a high enough concentration to help with my acne. I only get one or two zits enough, and this is not enough to make a real impact on size, or speed up recovery time. This does not sting like some of benzoyl peroxide treatments do.

My advice is to research which type of acne you have, cystic, bacterial etc. and figure out if this would even be the proper treatment for you. If you have mild acne (not very large) this might help-but it wasn't enough for me. For the price, there are cheaper drug store brands that have a 5% concentration of benzoyl peroxide for a fraction of the price.
