A clunker of a car, but an excellent book!
I read this book in my early-childhood music classes - children love to join in on all the animals' sounds (and there are lots of animals) as well as all the clunky-car sounds (there are lots of them, too!). I bought this book used, and it had a page torn out. I am disappointed in it.

I read this book in my early-childhood music classes - children love to join in on all the animals' sounds (and there are lots of animals) as well as all the clunky-car sounds (there are lots of them, too!). It's a nice change from the usual barnyard setting of preschool stories, and there are never enough books about cars and trucks, which young children are very interested in! The illustrations are bold, bright, and funny. I highly recommend this book!

My daughter loves to read this book. We checked it out at the library but she wants to read it every night so I guess I'm going to buy it.
