About the Author

Kay Witschen grew up in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania, joined the Marine Corps after high school, where she eventually met and married husband Dick.

After moving to St. Cloud, Minnesota (Dick's hometown), Kay attended St. Cloud State University and has spent 25 years in various libraries. She retired as Foley Branch Librarian in 1997.
