Book Description

Imagine you’re watching a video posted on the Internet and catch a glimpse of yourself in it. The only thing is, you were never in the place where the clip was shot and you don't know any of the people in it.

Charles is an expatriated American living in Japan who spots himself in a sex video that has gone viral. Initially, he dismisses it as a fluke. His apprehension fades after a Japanese barmaid is convinced that he was in the clip and enthusiastically accepts his offer to spend the night with him.

His new-found fame wanes when a supervisor at work watches Charles in a job-related video and notices that Charles’ facial expressions momentarily take on those of a different person. After this incident, Charles is convinced that his video “flukes” must be explained.

His journey to discover the truth reveals: a former porno starlet with a “unique” talent; the couple from the viral video wants him to join a secret cult; the CIA is involved somehow; people with blue auras are important; disappearing people complicate things; a Russian gambler at a Korean casino with an agenda; and inter-dimensional reptilian aliens behind it all.

CLIP is a Kafkaesque thriller, which implodes into haunting 21st century veracity.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!! December 4, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
OMG!This book was such a glorious mind screw that I was totally panting for more when I read the last page.I felt as if I was hovering on the edge of a cliff willing to jump for just one more chapter. The main character,Charles Journeyman is indeed quite a character.A middle aged horntoad who's day begins and ends with who he can lure into his bed.And surprisingly he tends to succeed in his endeavor countless times. His viewing of a sex tape is a complete life changer and sets him on a journey(no pun intended)that he never expected.Alien lizard people, blue auras and so much more. This is a must read.Kenneth Wayne injected the right amount of uneasiness coupled with humor to keep you glued to this book and as I stated before, leave you wanting more.I highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Destined to be a cult classic! October 8, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a well written, sexy, adventure story with fully developed and believable characters. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the story line and was constantly entertained by the twists and turns of the plot. The feasibility of someone jumping into another body at first seemed impossible, but as the story progressed it became completely believable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Clip Review February 17, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Very up to date idea and in many ways the stuff of modern nightmares, especially for people in the public eye (even in such a small way as a University lecturer) I thought that it moved along well and the writing is obviously of a very high quality. I had to re-read some bits to get them straight in my mind but that might be my problem more than yours of course. I enjoyed the way that you started the story with the reference to the video clip as though we should all have seen it - clever that. I have only read the first chapter up to now but I think that your ideas are really working and wish you the best of luck with this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Grab that tape! February 15, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
If you weren't paranoid about your integrated webcam before, this taut thriller/chiller will make you think twice. My webcam is now safely covered up until I choose to use it just in case. Kenneth Wayne builds up the plot and the tension very well indeed and before you know it you are drawn into Journeyman's bewildering world, trying to work out what is and isn't real. If you are looking for a more accessible Gibson-esque piece of entertainment then here it is.

4.0 out of 5 stars Slithering like a lizard... February 19, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This is very original and different...I love the feel of Charles being an expatriate in Tokyo, it brings a lot to the story. The plot moves along in a mysterious, slithering way, kind of like a lizard :).It left me anxious to find out the rest of the shape shifting story, and to figure out what happens...
Now that it is available, we can all find out!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Original Thriller February 17, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
What a great idea for a book. The writing is sharp and modern, kind of reminds me of Kazuo Ishiguro. But it's definitely got an original vibe going on. Love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best seller material! February 20, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm convinced that this will be a huge success. The opening chapter is a real attention grabber, sustained by the natural style and flow of the narrative. It's a quirky, brilliantly paced novel that's perfect for today's market.
