Very simple to install. There is a front and a back piece that encase the VU by snapping together. The case is very sturdy. It's so sturdy in fact, that it's ridiculously difficult to take off. Just make sure that everything you need in your phone is already in. My MicroSD wasn't installed yet, and I had to go through the pains of using guitar picks to pry open the case, which, by the way, is the only thing that worked. If you fall into this predicament, just shimmy your 1.0mm Tortex into the seam, and work your way around until you find the right spot, wherever that is. You should be able to pop that baby right apart. Try not to break anything.

Anyways, the case manages to be solid enough for peace of mind, while still looking good, and keeping a low profile. It is also textured... actually not unlike a Tortex pick, as mentioned before. Seriously, now that I feel it up, it feels just like the Tortex material, which is designed for grip, and works wonderfully. So, even though I only just realized that aspect of the case, it's another great selling point.

All in all, it's a great product, 5/5 stars. Get it. Show it off. Shame others and their ugly cases.

The cover fits great onto the Vu with all of the ports and keys easily accessible. When I first received my phone I was worried that it would slip out of my hands too easily since it's a very smooth phone...this cover prevents that from happening on a daily basis. My only complaint is that once I put the cover on, it was hell to get off lol. But I later realized that this was a good thing..because in the event that I drop the phone the cover won't just snap off, proving that it's very durable.

The cover protects the phone and gives it enough size and weight that I no longer feel that I could drop it. The rubber coating makes the phone feel like it is covered with a non skid coating.

The case was nice hard plastic with a rubber coat that did not attract dust like silicon does. It is white underneath, so if you scratch it, it will leave that part white. The case doesn't wrap around the buttons like in the picture, only the sides. The clip is rather bulky, but I never intended to use it anyways. It is extremely difficult to remove once you have it on, I nicked the phone in a few places to get it off. These are only minor things, and I don't mind too much. It's good material and fits perfectly to the phone. I would reccomend it to friend or buy again.

This product I believe has saved my phone. I have probably dropped my phone now around 25-30 times. This case has worked great. My phone has never shut off when I dropped it and the case always stays put on the phone. I dropped my phone in the water recently and I believe it saved the phone. The case along with the rice trick saved my phone and it still works like nothing had ever happened to it. The only thing bad I can say about the case is that the rubber coat makes it a bit hard to retrieve your phone from your pocket. It makes a great car holder though. Just lie it on the dash and it's not going anywhere. Great product.

This cover works very well for the LG Vu. It fits very well protects everything and has a very nice feel. I highly recommend this for anyone with this phone, i put the cover on immediately after buying and have gotten so used to it. It also helps because the phone sometimes heats up if you talk for a while (over an hour) and the cover helps dissipate the heat so your face doesn't burn. Highly recommend this for anyone with a Vu and its very cheap too

The case fit the phone pretty tight and the surface is smooth but not slippery. Very nice!

this is a nice bit of protection. Don't get this to make your phone look super cool! its sort of cheap and it is painted black. Which means that if you scratch it, you will see white plastic. In my humble opinion, this case will not save your phone if you drop it on the sidewalk. But, this case provides ample surface area and tactile friction to give even the most buttery of butter fingers the security they need to use the phone.

Although my case did not ship with the belt clip, the case itself works well( though the clip would have been awesome).
The case clips on very easily in two pieces and has some slot on the side for the user to easily remove the casing for other purposes. It's not all that hard to open the case, but it's not easy either. The case fits nicely and does not weigh down the phone too much.Also make sure yu have your SD card and battery in before you put it on, to avoid future hassle with opening it. The casing has openings for the various buttons on the side and the antenna on the side as well.
Overall, the case works very well, will protect it very well, and I'm satisfied with it!

I purchased this case in addition to a silicone one and have decided to use this. Good access to buttons, good protection, and good look. Very satisfied.
