I have a Hinterberg quilting frame with a midarm quilting machine. Normally you have to pin a quilt on the fabric leads to put the quilt on the frame. I use the Mondo Clip-n-Seal clips to attach the quilt to the frame. A channel is sewed into the end of the fabric leader, then put in the smaller round rod, lay the quilt backing, etc over the rod and snap on the larger clip. It works perfectly, holding the quilt in place while quilting without having to use pins.

These are the perfect product for my longarm quilting leaders. Once I found the right sized dowel screws, that connect the tubes together, I slid the combined trio into the newly attached sleeve for each leader.
As everyone else has mentioned, the first couple of quilts are a challenge. The solution is to use your table to press the outer clamp over the fabric. You can really press down on your table.
When it comes to pulling them off, think of bending them up and "peeling" them off. After about the 3rd or 4th quilt, it won't be so tight.
But you'll know that you're backing and top are on SECURELY without sticking yourself with pins. And so FAST! And so much better priced than the products that are advertised for this purpose.

Wow! So many quilters using this product. (Is that the correct word for someone who does quilting, "quilter?") Anyway, I thought I would mention what we're using it for. Anything in a bag that needs a good seal! From bags of coffee, to large, 5 pound bags of french fries from our local warehouse store to 25 pound bags of fertilizer. I use a pvc pipe cutter to snip off lengths we need for whatever bag it's going on. Just be sure to add a bit extra on each side of the bag. Also, as you will need to have the male side extend beyond the other side of the clip, take this into account when you make your cut. If you don't leave enough extra sticking out from the female part, you will have a hard time prying then apart. Also, my wife has a bit harder time using the product because the clip does take a bit of force to snap together. As long as you leave enough extra length on the male part, it will make pulling them apart easier. Say, at least and inch on each side. But pinching them together on your bag will be difficult for small children, some women, and the elderly. If you have arthritis in your hands, forget it--this product is not for you. However, if the bag you are closing is a thin bag of chips, then a lot less force is needed to snap the parts together.
